Policy in preparation
This is a placeholder, not a policy. Alffi is pre-launch and parts of the platform’s architecture are still settling. We’d rather publish nothing than publish a privacy policy we have to quietly rewrite.
A full privacy policy will be published before Alffi is generally available, and before any customer other than a design partner is onboarded. Design partners receive the relevant terms directly, in writing, as part of joining the programme.
If you want to know how your data would be handled before then, ask us. We will give you a straight answer rather than point you at a document.
Separately from the platform, this website collects a small amount of information, and that much we can describe now.
If you submit the enquiry form to request a demo or ask about the design partner programme, we collect:
We use those details for one purpose: to contact you about Alffi. We do not sell them, share them with third parties for marketing, or add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask for. If you’d like your enquiry deleted, email us and we’ll remove it.
This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It records the pages you view and clicks on the links into the demo, roughly where you are (country or region), and the type of device and browser, and it sets a cookie so that repeat visits from the same browser are counted once. It does not tell us who you are, and we don’t combine it with the enquiry form. We do not run advertising trackers. You can block it with a browser extension such as Google’s own opt-out add-on or any content blocker.
The demo farm on the Alffi platform lets you try Ask Alffi on made-up farm records. To use it you register, and we collect:
We use them to run the demo (to send your sign-in code and keep to the twenty-question limit), to contact you about the demo (unless you tick Please don’t contact me about the demo when you sign up, or tell us later), and to review the answers so we can improve Ask Alffi. Your questions are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to produce the answers. The sign-up form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks you are not a robot. To limit abuse we also keep a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address and email address, never the addresses themselves.
Please don’t type other people’s personal details into the demo chat.
How long we keep it. Your details are kept until you ask us to delete them. Your demo questions and answers are kept for as long as the demo runs. A sign-up that is never confirmed with its code is deleted after seven days.
Deleting it. Use Delete my demo account at the top of the demo, or email us. We delete your name, email, mobile and the other details you gave, and close your demo login. Your demo questions and Ask Alffi’s answers are kept with your details removed, so they no longer identify you.
Alffi is a product of Farmers Friend App Pty Ltd (ABN 54 694 823 786), an Australian company.
